The code list is here, which you’ll need in order to activate the BAJILLION effects: I can’t tell y’all how many times I’ve used the Fog Emitter in my posts–when I do I usually try to tell y’all the codes I used, like in my Dragon Age posts, where they were absolutely everywhere.įor people like me who don’t know how to do cool Photoshop editing, I heavily rely on the Fog Emitter to add some extra pizzazz, particularly in fanciful gameplay. (I first got the idea to use FX Machines late into my Final Fantasy gameplay, which sucks, cuz I really need to redo all the Aeons as FX Machines instead of decor.)Įven these smaller versions of the LN/SHT ones at MTS can be used with MOO to hide inside bigger objects–the possibilities are endless with these things.Īs for making lights with working candle flames, I’ve never managed to figure out how to clone the basegame tiki lights or WA EP torches.

One of my favorites is cloning one of the FX Machines–the FX Pod from Showtime has far more options (like a dozen or more IIRC) than the Late Night one (which has like 6).

The Mood Lamp is probably one of the best things to clone if you want a more or less “decorative“ object that can still do something cool and give your sim extra perks on top of it. For instance, take the Paranormal Jar and Dragon Spring Rider I made for my Bday Bonanza: Those had special effects because the objects I cloned them from (the Supernatural EP’s Mood Lamp and the Generations EP’s Spring Rider) have special effects when you turn them on. Probably the easiest way to “add” effects to objects is to clone and object that already has effects. School Motto: Prepare to be tortured! For Science! Welcome to Murf’s School of Crap and Crap-Making! That is indeed a tough one–I myself don’t have much experience with it either, so PLEASE make a tutorial for us, Green! 🙏 This is what little I know: I might make a tutorial for it in the future, regarding adding effects, since the process of it is quite technical and I really need to figure out again how to do it :p (Although it sounds like a thing the great has already done :p)

Is it editing an existing Effect (So making, say, a candle flame blue?) on objects, or is it actually adding a whole new effect to an object? Because the latter would actually require some scripting unfortunately :/ Ohh, that’s a tough one! It really depends on what you want to do.
